The journey to financial freedom starts here
One of the best parts of being financially free is that you have the freedom to spend your time on the things you value the most.
Last month I was presented an opportunity that I couldn’t let pass. A friend of mine asked if I wanted to have a leading role and be partner in his start-up, a vegan restaurant concept, which we plan to spread all over the world.

I hope you’re enjoying the summer wherever you are. We absolutely loving it here in Portugal. The climate is so much better than in Denmark.
The girls are attending surfing lessons on Sundays and I enjoy Friday nights out with the guys. I usually spend 10€ on Fridays (going out is so cheap here!) where the surfing lessons are a tad more expensive. But the girls love surfing and it’s a fun and healthy hobby for them, so it’s definitely worth it.
On the investing side, Crowdlending investments are slowly starting to pick up again. Regular monthly repayments should start again from this month on most platforms.
I received some nice repayments from Crowdestor in June, which brought my monthly income back above 3k EUR.

My Crowdlending income is still heavily affected by the 3 month grace period given to the borrowers by some of the platforms. May was the last month of grace so it’ll be exciting to see if we return to normal values from next month.
While Crowdlending has been somewhat uneventful, the stock markets have been on steroids.

This month I’ll make the Crowdlending part short and sweet. When societies open up again, we’ll see how much damage the sector has taken. I’m still hopeful and keep reinvesting for the most part.
