Dear fellow investors, guys and gals, friends and family.
This is my first portfolio update written from southern Europe. Yes, we have officially moved to Portugal.
Selling most of our stuff including 2 cars have freed up a good amount of money, which is waiting to be invested. Maybe it’s time to put some into the stock market?
If you’re interested in more details about our journey, I’m working on a post-series called “Moving to Portugal for Financial Freedom”. Part 1 will be out soon 🙂
So how did my portfolio perform in February? I’m glad you asked, I prepared a nice overview for you. Continue reading “Portfolio update February 2020”
First month of 2020 has passed and it’s time for another update.
January was a hetic month.
- We arranged a “name giving party” for our 7 month baby with 30 family members.
- A birthday-/”fare well” party was held for our oldest daughter’s 25 class mates.
- We took hundreds of pictures of our belongings and listed them for sale on Facebook Marketplace. More than 60 people came to our house throughout the month to buy something.
(We are only bringing 2 x 20 kg suitcases and 4 x handluggage on the plane to Portugal, thus, we need to get rid of almost everything we own.)
And if that wasn’t enough…
To all my readers and followers. Happy New Year everyone!
It’s time to wrap up the year and see how my portfolio performed in the last month of 2019.
But before we continue I’d like everyone to take a chill-pill. I get way too many emails and messages from people who are worried by the slightest hickup.
Crowdlending platforms are high-risk investments! If you’re not prepared for some rollercoaster action you should probably invest in something else.
Yes, I follow the sector closely. Yes, I visit platforms, engage with the community etc. In fact, I do everything I can to be the guy who has the most insights into the Baltic crowdlending industry. But in the end, please keep in mind;
I’m just a private investor, just like you. Continue reading “Portfolio update December 2019”

Is Kuetzal a scam? Is Kuetzal a fraud?
These questions are often posted in many private forums and Facebook groups these days. I think it’s time to share my concerns about Kuetzal with my readers. EDIT: It’s not really a question anymore, it’s more a statement.
I have been investing with Kuetzal since 13.05.2019, so about 6 months. It’s a much shorter duration than many other platforms in my portfolio. Unfortunately, I keep finding things I don’t like.
I’ve discussed most of the issues with the former CEO Alberts, who have been giving his best explanation every time. There’s probably a logical explanation to some of the concerns, I just don’t see it! EDIT: There’s no logical explanation.
I will meet the new CEO Maksims on December 18th. I hop e he’ll be able to shed some light on the concerns I have listed below. EDIT: Maksims had not much value to share. Continue reading “Concerns about Kuetzal – Is Kuetzal a scam?”

Aaaalright financial freedom seekers from all over the world. Here we are back again with a new Portfolio Update for November 2019.
Airplane tickets are bought…
Our apartment contract has been terminated…
We will move from Denmark to Portugal on February 15th!
Reality is coming closer. Could you imagine leaving everything behind, except for your closest family and whatever you could fit into your suitcase?
I was just about to write some more thoughts about this subject, when I realized something… Why not make an entire post series called “Moving to another country to FIRE earlier”? It could be an interesting read.
I think I will do that and focus on MONEY in the portfolio updates.
Here’s what my investments brought in while I was busy sleeping.
